Silly Scrappin' Challenge - Week 6
For this week, we decided to get silly!
For each layout you make from the following list, you will receive 5 points. You may only do
each challenge ONCE. Also, you may not consolidate several challenges on one layout. For example, if you did a page about your morning routine (#4) with a Dr. Seuss quote on it (#3), it will still only count as ONE of the two challenges. With the exception of challenge #10, all challenges should be completed on a layout, 6x6 or larger. If you create a mini-album smaller than that, the entire album may be considered as a completed challenge at our discretion.
Here are the challenges:
1. Create a page using deco scissors.
2. Create a layout with all the colors of the rainbow on it. (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet - We'll let you off the hook on"indigo".)
3. Use a Dr. Seuss quote somewhere on your page.
4. Scrap a page about your morning routine.
5. Create a layout about your hometown.
6. Make a layout inspired by your favorite painting or artist.
7. Use a Bible verse somewhere on your page.
8. Incorporate both circles and arrows into a layout design.
9. Create a layout using ONLY patterned paper - no embellishments, no cardstock, no anything unless it's patterned paper!
10. Create an altered object. (This one does not have to be part of a layout.)
11. Scrap a layout with no pictures.
12. Create a layout that contains no pictures of human beings. Think objects, landscapes, animals...
13. Use a Beatles lyric on your page.
14. Create a layout about a collection you have.
15. Use 3 items that could be considered "office supplies" on your page.
16. Create a layout that uses the title "When Pigs Fly!"
17. Create a layout using ONLY black & white (no other colors, even as accents!!!)
18. Create a layout using EXACTLY 11 different pieces of ribbon
19. Scrap a layout with a NUMBER in the title
20. Use a slide mount on your layout
21. Use an altered photo on your layout (can be altered any way… either using a computer program or other materials such as paint, sanding, etc)
22. Create a cardstock only layout
23. Use buttons
24. Create a layout with 8 photo turns
25. Use AT LEAST 10 stickers on your layout… (NO ALPHAS)
26. Create a layout using 3 different floral PP's (no other PP can be used)
27. Create a layout that uses EVERY letter in the alphabet
28. Use brads or eyelets to create a shape
29. Crop your photo into an unusual shape (no squares or rectangles)
30. Create a layout with a ONE WORD title… no journaling…have your title and photo tell all…
Now, there are bound to be a LOT of layouts submitted this week. Since Jill and I want to share the uploading as much as possible, team one can send their layouts to me, and team two can send them to Jill. Deadline is Friday at midnight EST.
Have fun!

Interesting! Thanks for the challenge!
Maybe I am feeling this way because I am having hormonal issues from surgery but I REALLY feel like I don't want to participate in this challenge anymore. Everytime my stuff is posted it's just posted. Never anything nice said about it at that time. Go ahead and look. Everybody elses stuff is Awesome, beautiful, WOW, or Gorgeous. I guess my stuff is just SHIT. My feelings don't get hurt very easily but this has done it.
Robin, I am really sorry you are feeling this way! I'm sure the slight was unintentional!! Your cards last week were beautiful, I was just too busy to comment on anyone's work. :-( Heck, I didn't even turn in all three layouts last week. As far as what's said when a layout is posted, it really depends on how busy I am. Some of the weeks, you can see I just posted the layout and didn't even say anything. Some I said nice things about the layout, some I didn't. It didn't have anything to do with the quality of the layout, but the quantity of time I had to post. For example, just above this post is a really beautiful layout that doesn't have any comments on it except that it came in just under the wire. Jill was leaving for a trip this morning and posted it while packing the car. That doesn't mean it's not lovely, just that the poster was busy, kwim?
Like I said, I am sorry that you were insulted, and I hope you'll give us the chance to make up for it. :-(

Robin,
I'm sooo sorry you feel this way...
Totally as Jenn said... that was so unintentional... this last upload was literally as I was running out the door. DH yelling at me to hurry up.
And the last one was sort of a time crunch when posting as well. I really didn't mean anything by it...and LOVE your work and am so glad you are participating. When I got home earlier, I even revisited your post and added how cute it was (cuz it is).
Do hope you'll understand and stay on.

It's been a real emotional day for me for some reason. Even though I felt like this I know it most likely was not intentional. Sorry for the rant. :)
